Mail, kDrive and website migration to Infomaniak: method, timelines and pricing. Exit Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, OVH or other, by an Infomaniak partner based in Brittany.

Why bring in help

A mail migration or a change of collaborative workspace touches every user at the same time. The classic traps (lost emails, broken DNS, shared permissions lost, no training) cost more than the migration itself. Our job is to lock the scope, run it without visible downtime, and train your teams to be self-sufficient at the end of the project.

Mail migration

Exit from Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange, OVH, Gandi or any IMAP provider. We take care of the whole process:

  • Inventory of accounts, aliases, distribution lists and forwarding rules;
  • Creation of Infomaniak Mail boxes and user provisioning;
  • IMAP sync of past mail, contacts and calendars;
  • DNS cutover (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) without senders noticing;
  • Client setup (Outlook, Thunderbird, mobile) or AutoDiscover push;
  • Send/receive tests, deliverability checks, controlled cutover window.

Indicative timeline: 1 to 2 days depending on volume (number of mailboxes, archive size, calendar constraints).

kDrive migration

Three scenarios we handle regularly:

  • Setup from scratch: analysis of how the team works, folder tree, shared folder creation, sync rollout on workstations.
  • Migration from OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Nextcloud or a NAS: content transfer, permission rebuild, share link handling, gradual user-by-user cutover.
  • Existing kDrive cleanup: housekeeping, permission rework, GDPR review of external shares.

Indicative timeline: ½ day for a from-scratch setup, 1 to 2 days for a migration depending on volume.

Website migration

Exit from OVH, Gandi, Hostinger, o2switch, IONOS, Plesk or cPanel to Infomaniak web hosting (shared, Cloud Server or VPS):

  • Recovery of files, databases and existing certificates;
  • Clean rebuild on Infomaniak (PHP, databases, WordPress/e-commerce/app environment);
  • Planned DNS cutover, content freeze to avoid duplicates;
  • Let's Encrypt certificates, forced HTTPS, 301 redirects if URLs change;
  • Post-migration validation: performance, SEO, forms, transactional emails.

Indicative timeline: 1 to 2 days depending on site complexity and whether emails are attached.

Pricing

Migration work is billed on time spent, at a daily rate of 750 € HT. For well-scoped projects, we also offer a fixed price. Infomaniak services (mail, kDrive, hosting, etc.) are billed directly between you and Infomaniak.

Sample mission

Communications agency, 7 staff

Context: a team historically running on scattered free tools (personal Gmail, a shared Drive among a few people, unsynced calendars). Goal: bring everyone onto a single, clean, backed-up European stack before the end of the quarter.

Four-step run:

  1. Qualification (½ day): use-case scoping, picking the bricks (Mail, kDrive, shared calendars), folder and permission design.
  2. Setup (1 day): domain, mailboxes, kDrive and shared folders, sync on the 7 workstations.
  3. Cutover (1 day): mail history import, document transfer, client and mobile setup, shared calendars.
  4. Training and wrap-up (½ day): collective handover, internal documentation, edge cases.

Indicative cost of LenoIT work: 3 days, i.e. 2 250 € HT (excluding Infomaniak subscriptions, billed directly by Infomaniak). To be adjusted based on volume and account count.
